Nurse checkups and Self-Scoring: a new way to tackle arthritis?
NCT ID NCT01315652
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tested whether a visit with a nurse to check for related health issues (like heart disease or infections) and a program teaching patients to score their own arthritis activity could improve care. About 970 adults with stable rheumatoid arthritis took part. The goal was to see if these steps lead to better treatment of other health problems and help patients and doctors adjust arthritis treatment more effectively.
