First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether combining PSMA-PET/CT and MRI scans can more accurately stage prostate cancer in men with intermediate- or high-risk disease. Researchers will compare scan results with tissue samples from 600 men who had their prostate removed. The goal is to improve detection of tumor location, spread, and lymph node involvement, which could guide more personalized treatment.
