First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding phenol injections to standard botulinum toxin (Botox) treatment works better for reducing arm stiffness in stroke survivors. About 60 adults who had a stroke at least 6 months ago will receive either the combined therapy or Botox alone. The goal is to see if the combination can lower muscle tightness and reduce the amount of Botox needed.
