First seen Dec 09, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether dry needling can reduce spasticity (muscle tightness) in people who have had a stroke. About 28 adults with stroke-related stiffness will receive either real or fake dry needling once a week for four weeks. Researchers will use ultrasound and muscle activity tests to measure changes, aiming to find a better way to treat this common problem.
