NCT ID NCT07310316
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether combining two procedures—blocking the bleeding veins and reducing blood flow to the spleen—can prevent further bleeding in people with a rare condition where the main vein to the liver is blocked. The study will review medical records of 26 adults who have already had bleeding from enlarged veins in the stomach or esophagus. The goal is to see if this combined approach lowers the chance of future bleeding episodes.
