First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether adding deep heat therapy and a special type of radiation to standard chemoimmunotherapy is safe and doable for people with advanced bile duct cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 15 adults will receive the standard drugs gemcitabine, cisplatin, and durvalumab along with one dose of radiation and three heat treatments. The main goals are to check for side effects and see if the heat therapy can be given as planned.
