One pill vs. two: early test for potential heart health medication

NCT ID NCT07316608

Not yet recruiting Knowledge-focused Sponsor: AstraZeneca Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This early-stage study aims to see how the body processes a new single pill containing two medications (laroprovstat and rosuvastatin) compared to taking the two medications as separate pills. It will involve 44 healthy adults who will take different versions of the medication in a specific order with breaks in between. The main goal is to understand if the combination pill works similarly in the body to the individual pills.
