New hope for advanced colon cancer: boosting chemo with immune drugs
NCT ID NCT06154538
Summary
This study is testing whether adding immunotherapy drugs to standard chemotherapy before surgery works better than chemotherapy alone for people with locally advanced colorectal cancer. Researchers want to see if the combination helps eliminate more cancer cells before surgery and improves long-term survival. About 170 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the combination treatment or standard chemotherapy alone.
