New 'Chemo-Free' combo shows promise for Tough-to-Treat colon cancer
NCT ID NCT07398326
Summary
This study is testing a combination of two existing drugs, anlotinib and sintilimab, as a first treatment for advanced colorectal cancer that has spread but not to the liver. The goal is to see if this 'chemotherapy-free' approach can control the cancer effectively with fewer side effects for patients who are unable or unwilling to receive standard chemotherapy. It builds on earlier promising results, especially for patients without liver metastases.
