Summary
This study tested a community-based program to increase colorectal cancer screening in rural China. Over 20,000 adults aged 45-70 took part. The program used questionnaires and fecal tests to identify high-risk individuals and encouraged them to get a colonoscopy. The goal was to catch cancer early, when treatment is more effective.
