New rehab pathway aims to ease cancer recovery

NCT ID NCT07428239

Summary

This pilot study tested whether a coordinated, personalized rehabilitation program could improve life quality for colorectal cancer patients. 150 patients in Slovenia were assigned to either receive standard care or a new pathway connecting them to specialists like physiotherapists and dietitians based on their needs. The goal was to see if this organized approach is feasible and helps patients manage the physical and emotional challenges after cancer treatment.
