Blood test could personalize cancer treatment, spare patients ineffective drugs

NCT ID NCT07224841

Summary

This study aims to develop a blood test that can predict which patients with advanced colorectal cancer will respond to specific targeted therapies. Researchers will analyze DNA fragments in the blood of 500 patients to find patterns linked to treatment success. The goal is to create a tool that helps doctors choose the most effective treatment for each patient, avoiding drugs that are unlikely to work.
