Digital messages aim to bridge colonoscopy gap for native american communities

NCT ID NCT07115875

Summary

This study aims to help more Native Americans in Oklahoma get a follow-up colonoscopy after an abnormal at-home stool test for colorectal cancer. Researchers will work with the community to create text messages and videos with personal stories, and test if these messages and telehealth appointments make it easier for people to schedule and complete their colonoscopy. The goal is to find better ways to support timely cancer screening and reduce health disparities.
