NCT ID NCT06061315
First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking collagen peptides after resistance training helps untrained, overweight men aged 30-60 gain more muscle and strength compared to training alone. Eighty men completed a supervised exercise program, and researchers measured changes in lean body mass, fat mass, and muscle power. The goal was to see if the supplement provides any extra benefit over exercise by itself.
