First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at a simpler way to detect resistance to colistin, a last-resort antibiotic, in multidrug-resistant bacteria. Researchers will collect 90 samples from hospitalized patients and compare a disk test to the standard method. They will also check for resistance genes using PCR. The goal is to make resistance detection easier and more reliable.
