Summary

This study is testing if applying cold therapy (cryotherapy) to the hands and feet during chemotherapy can prevent nerve damage, a common and debilitating side effect. It involves 40 adults with stage III colon cancer who are starting a specific chemotherapy regimen. The goal is to see if this simple cooling method helps patients complete their treatment with fewer side effects like numbness and tingling.
