Summary
This study tested if applying cold atmospheric plasma to the gums for one minute before a dental numbing shot reduces pain. Thirty healthy adults received the plasma on one side of the mouth and a standard injection on the other. The goal was to see if the plasma made the injection more comfortable and improved patient satisfaction.
