Chill out: cold neck trick may ease IV pain for obese patients

Summary
This study tests if placing a cold stone on the neck for 5 seconds before an IV can lower pain in people with obesity (BMI over 30). About 150 adults having elective surgery will be randomly assigned to get the cold treatment or standard care. Pain levels and vital signs will be compared between the two groups.
