First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study will test whether applying cold gel packs to two specific acupoints (LI4 on the hand and SP6 on the leg) can reduce hot flashes and depression in women going through menopause. About 80 women with daily hot flashes will be randomly assigned to receive the cold pack treatment or not. Researchers will measure changes in hot flash impact and depression symptoms using standard questionnaires.
