Scientists hunt for hidden clues in heart Patients' blood

NCT ID NCT07462325

Summary

This study aims to understand how a low-dose anti-inflammatory drug (colchicine) changes the mix of proteins in the blood of people with coronary heart disease who still have inflammation. Researchers will compare blood samples from 176 patients, half taking the drug and half not, over one month. The goal is to discover new biological markers and potential targets for future heart disease treatments.
