Summary

This study tests whether colchicine, an anti-inflammatory drug, can improve heart function in people with chronic kidney disease. About 20 adults with mild to severe kidney disease will take colchicine or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the drug helps the heart pump better, as measured by ultrasound.
