First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether 8 weeks of daily computer-based cognitive training, sometimes paired with a gentle brain stimulation technique called tDCS, can improve thinking, balance, and daily living skills in seniors aged 50+ with mental health conditions. Participants live in community housing and receive monthly booster sessions for up to 5 years. The goal is to help them stay independent and avoid moving to long-term care.
