Summary

This study tests a new mental training technique called cognitive reappraisal training for people with borderline personality disorder (BPD). The goal is to help them manage intense emotions by learning to mentally step back from upsetting situations. Researchers will use brain scans and symptom questionnaires to see if the training changes brain activity and reduces symptoms. The study involves 130 adults aged 18-55 with BPD.
