Summary

This study was designed to see if a daily curcumin supplement could improve memory and attention in adults aged 50–85 with age-related memory complaints. Participants would have taken curcumin or a placebo for up to 12 months. However, the trial was withdrawn before enrolling anyone, so no data were collected.

curcumin (Theracurmin Super TS-P1)

What this could lead to

If it had succeeded, this could have pointed toward a natural supplement to help slow age-related memory decline.

What could go wrong

The study was withdrawn before enrolling anyone, so no results are available. Even if completed, the previous small study had modest effects, and dietary supplements often fail to show clear benefits in larger trials.
