Could a common supplement help kids beat pneumonia faster?

NCT ID NCT07317440

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a dietary supplement called Coenzyme Q10 to the standard antibiotic treatment helps children hospitalized with pneumonia get better faster. It will involve 120 children aged 2 months to 18 years. Researchers will measure how quickly symptoms like fever and breathing problems improve, and if the supplement shortens the hospital stay.
