Summary

This study looks at whether a cochlear implant can improve hearing in children aged 4 to 6 who have severe hearing loss in one ear or uneven hearing between ears. The main goal is to see if the implant helps them understand speech better in noisy situations. The study will follow 36 children for 18 months after the implant.
