Summary
This study is a nationwide research project in China that will use special cameras inside blood vessels to study hard, bony-like plaques called calcified nodules in heart arteries. These plaques can cause sudden heart attacks and are hard to treat. By watching 500 patients over time, doctors hope to learn the best ways to find and treat these tricky plaques, improving care for future patients.
