Summary
This study looks at babies who fail their newborn hearing test to see if a common virus called CMV is the cause. CMV can lead to hearing loss and other health issues, but it often goes unnoticed. By collecting data from 450 infants, researchers hope to improve how we detect and manage CMV-related problems early on.
