NCT ID NCT06976008

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at how a common virus called CMV changes the immune system in people who have had a kidney transplant. Researchers will compare immune responses in 60 patients—some with CMV infection and some without—to see if CMV makes it harder to fight other germs. The goal is to better understand how CMV affects immunity in transplant patients, which could lead to improved care.
