First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at how the Clubhouse model—a structured, supportive community for people with mental illness—affects thinking skills, daily life, and brain activity in adults with schizophrenia or related conditions. Researchers will compare Clubhouse members to those receiving standard outpatient care. Participants complete interviews, thinking tests, and an MRI brain scan at the start and again six months later.
