First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study measures the amount of free cloxacillin in the blood of adults receiving the drug as a continuous infusion for severe staph infections. Researchers want to ensure levels are not too high or too low. They will use this data to create a model that predicts the right dose based on age, kidney function, and other factors. The study involves 25 participants and is currently recruiting.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to more personalized dosing of cloxacillin for severe staph infections, improving safety and effectiveness.
