NCT ID NCT07535424
First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested two common ear drop treatments for a fungal ear infection called otomycosis, which causes itching, discomfort, and a blocked feeling in the ear. Sixty patients were split into two groups: one received clotrimazole drops and the other received 2% salicylic acid drops, both used three times daily for two weeks. The main goal was to see which treatment better relieved ear blockage. The results help doctors choose an effective and affordable option for routine care.
