New wound dressing aims to speed healing after breast reduction

Summary
This study tests if a special vacuum dressing (closed incision negative pressure therapy) helps wounds heal better after breast reduction surgery compared to a standard bandage. About 92 women will each have one breast treated with the special dressing and the other with a standard one, so they act as their own control. The goal is to see if the special dressing reduces complications like wound reopening, slow healing, or infection within 30 days after surgery.
