New drug combo aims to knock out blood cancer

NCT ID NCT01496976

Summary

This study tested a combination of three medications—ofatumumab, methylprednisolone, and lenalidomide—for people newly diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). The main goal was to see if this treatment could effectively control the cancer and lead to a long period of remission. Researchers also closely monitored the safety and side effects of this drug combination.
