Pregnant women get cooling advice and air purifiers to beat heat-related sleep problems

NCT ID NCT07609433

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether giving pregnant women personalized heat alerts, cooling tips, and indoor air cleaners can reduce their exposure to heat and air pollution, and improve sleep quality. About 102 healthy pregnant women in Italy and Cyprus will be split into groups: some get only advice, some get advice plus air cleaners, and others get no intervention. Sleep quality is measured with a standard questionnaire and a wearable device over three months.
