First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether the IV drug clevidipine can lower blood pressure quickly and keep it stable in people having a bleeding stroke. About 1,000 adults with high blood pressure and a recent intracerebral hemorrhage will receive either clevidipine or another IV blood pressure medicine. The goal is to see which drug reaches the target blood pressure range faster and keeps it there within the first hour of treatment.
