Summary
This study tests whether clemastine, a common antihistamine, can improve brain health and make antidepressants work better in older adults with depression. About 80 people over age 60 with major depression will receive either clemastine or a placebo alongside their antidepressant. Researchers will measure changes in depression symptoms, thinking skills, and brain white matter integrity.
