First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a single dose of a person's own blood stem cells (CLBS16) to see if it could reduce chest pain and improve quality of life in adults with coronary microvascular dysfunction (small artery heart disease) who have angina at least three times a week. Participants had no major blockages in their heart arteries. The trial was stopped early, and results are limited.
