Summary
This study is testing a training program designed to help patients with advanced chronic kidney disease and their caregivers make health decisions together more effectively. The program, delivered remotely by a coach, teaches communication and support skills. Researchers are comparing different combinations of training sessions to see which approach works best for reducing stress and uncertainty around medical choices.
