Could a simple supplement ease the sleepless nights of Alzheimer's?

NCT ID NCT05200208

Summary

This small, completed pilot study explored whether a dietary supplement called citicoline could help improve sleep and thinking skills in people with Alzheimer's disease. Twenty participants were randomly assigned to receive either citicoline or a placebo pill daily for three months. Researchers measured changes in sleep quality, daytime sleepiness, and memory to see if the supplement offered any benefit.
