Summary
This study investigated whether disruptions in the body's natural 24-hour clock (circadian rhythm) contribute to binge eating disorder. Researchers compared the sleep-wake cycles of 43 adults with and without the disorder. They then tested if a treatment combining morning light and melatonin could reset the body clock and reduce binge eating episodes.
