Experimental vaccine aims to boost immune attack on colorectal cancer

NCT ID NCT06011772

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 40 times

Summary

This very early study tests whether adding the CIMAvax-EGF vaccine to standard treatment can help the immune system fight metastatic colorectal cancer. Only 2 patients with a specific gene type (RAS/BRAF wild-type) will receive the combination. The main goal is to see if the vaccine triggers a strong antibody response, not to cure the disease.
