First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding cilostazol, a drug usually used for blood flow problems, to standard rheumatoid arthritis (RA) medicines can improve disease severity and quality of life. 70 adults with moderate to high RA activity took either cilostazol plus their usual RA drugs or just their usual drugs for 6 months. The goal was to see if cilostazol reduces inflammation and joint symptoms.
