First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding nutrition coaching to an existing community health worker program helps patients with high blood pressure and food insecurity. Sixty adults from primary care clinics took part in a 4-month program that included education, medication support, and home blood pressure monitoring. The goal was to see if the program was feasible and acceptable, and whether it improved diet and blood pressure.
