NCT ID NCT02914899
First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a Community Health Worker (CHW) program could help at-risk Chinese community members in New York City make informed decisions about lung cancer screening. About 99 participants, including Chinese immigrants who smoke or used to smoke, took part. The goal was to see if talking to a CHW led to more people getting screened compared to just giving them written information.
