Scientists hunt for immune clues in mysterious chronic pelvic pain

NCT ID NCT07429773

Summary

This study aims to find out if women with chronic pelvic pain that doesn't get better with standard hormone treatments have a specific pattern in their immune system. Researchers will take blood samples from 120 women and measure different immune system signals to see if a unique profile exists. The goal is to better understand the biology of this pain, not to test a new treatment.
