Summary
This study looks at how the nervous system becomes overly sensitive in people with different types of long-term pain, such as nerve pain or pain from tissue damage. Researchers will use questionnaires, thinking tests, and brain wave measurements to compare 185 adults with chronic pain. The goal is to better understand why pain persists and how to tailor treatments for each person.
