Can Re-Training the brain and body break the cycle of cancer pain?
NCT ID NCT04531917
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of pain education and gradual activity training can better reduce chronic pain for breast cancer survivors compared to standard care. It involves 122 survivors who have finished their main cancer treatment but still experience significant pain. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either six sessions of the combined therapy or just an informational leaflet, with researchers tracking their pain levels and quality of life for two years.
