New program aims to ease chronic pain for an underserved community

NCT ID NCT06725329

Summary

This study tested a new 10-week education program designed specifically to help Korean Americans manage chronic pain. Researchers worked with the community to adapt existing pain management techniques to be more culturally relevant. The goal was to see if the program was practical and acceptable, and if it could help reduce pain-related distress and interference in daily life. This was a small, early-stage study to gather evidence before testing the program on a larger scale.
