Summary

This study tested whether a type of talk therapy for chronic pain is helpful and acceptable for veterans who also have serious mental illnesses like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. 47 veterans took part. The goal was to see if the therapy is worth testing in a larger study and to better understand how pain and mental health symptoms are connected.
